  it was easy to figure people out.

  as long as you got out in service and put money in the money box people will pretend to be your "friend".. but let's be honest is most of business associates.

  they are your friends as long as you are active doing the watchtower bidding.. and then let's talk about the lack of hot women.

  Like I said, it's short term. 20 or 40 days.

  After that , more cals. and exercise.

  It's not for everybody.

  Greetings Cofty.

  I did this short term diet. It worked for me.

  It was hard.

  Like I said, anyone will lose weight on such low calories.

  From my research and experiance. I found you lose weight differntly.

  500 cal.s , well, you will lose weight .

  Vacation Destination: Looking for Input

  so when the kids get out of school we plan on going away for 3 to 4 weeks for vacation but we want to go somewhere that is actually enjoyable and not just packed full of things for the kids to do.

  cruises are out, to confining.

  i live in the u.s. so i want to abroad an continue to get the kids passports stamped so they can be exposed to as many cultures as possible.. .

  What is your heritage?

  I would consider exploring this.

  I did this with my kids. It is something they will never forget.

  As a JW, we were taught it was nationalistic to be proud of your history.

  So off we went to Europe...smile

  ps . we hit youth hostils. Great for meeting people and many have rooms for families . In Italy there are what is called agritourisimos..)sp?). An intersting style of travel too.

  To be or not to be ?

  i am seriously considering applying for position as a suicide hotline counselor.. i have always wanted to do this and when i was going to meetings i held back because of not wanting to "stumble" anyone.

  (stupid i know).. they are desperate for people so they provide the training free of charge.

  you just have to do your share of night shift.. does anyone know anything about this sort of job?

  I do know the JDub help personaly. As a teen I tried to off myself. The Family sent me to the Elders.

  I was told they were going to be like Uncles.

  Nope. They told me I have offended Jehovah and I needed forgivness. I was to bad to pray , so they did it for me.

  Very messed up.

  Go give real help and feel proud sparrow.

  Greetings sparrow,

  Since it 's something you have wanted to do. Do it. It may be your calling.

  I can't anwser the burn out part.

  My cousin is working on the rape crisis hotline.

  She has not been raped, but her close friend was. She was there for her, Her friend told her it kept her from offing herself.

  So litlle cousin is helping others. Yes, the late shift too.

  I believe helping others, we heal ouselves too and any other person that you share this with.

  You will be doing a very positive and honorable thing.
